DIVING FOR DUMMIES, PART ONE : The Feeling Underwater..

Written by Katarina Pachnikova our dive-master trainee.
Do you want to try diving but you're not sure? Maybe you think that you're not in good enough condition or that your inability to hold your breath for more than 15 seconds will be a problem. Let me tell you, it won't. I worried about the same things. I started diving less than 3 months ago and after the first pool session of my Open Water Course I still was not sure if this was a good idea. And then I jumped into the sea. Greatest idea. Ever. For me, it's not just about what you can see underwater. (Though I am sure that in first 15 minutes you'll see more life than on the best safari trip.) What I really love about diving is the feeling of utter calm. It's like meditation without the boring part of sitting and staring on the wall. It's easy. That is why I do it. Give it a try too.
