Discover the beauty of diving in Tulamben

Diving in Tulamben offers some of the richest underwater dive sites around Bali. This diving safari will take you explore the best of them during 5 days and 10 shore dives.
Tulamben is popular with wreck divers because of the 120m long wreck of the USS Liberty cargo ship. The ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine during World War II and because it was too damaged to make it to its destination, the captain decided to anchor it at the beach in Tulamben to save the cargo. When the Agung volcano erupted in 1963, the effusing lava pushed the ship to its current underwater location. The wreck is overgrown with rich corals and gives shelter to all sorts of coral fish. As we don’t go inside, you don’t need to be a wreck diver to explore this amazing dive site.
The Coral Garden and the Drop Off both offer equally beautiful diving and all sorts of reef fish, including white tip reef sharks, cuttlefish and macro. While the Coral Garden is nicely spread within just 2 – 15m depth, the Drop Off offers wonderful multilevel diving for divers with various diving experience.
After thoroughly exploring the Tulamben area, we will head to Kubu and to Amed. On both dive sites we will explore smaller and more recently sunken wrecks. Both locations offer very relaxed diving with lots of macro.
